opinionated.

some people have really good opinions, incredible minds.

but at the slightest criticism, they just give up.

i wish they wouldn't.

to me that shows weakness that is of the worst kind.

yes, sometimes people criticize without content

or with the aim to hurt

but oftentimes, just like most jokes contain truth,

criticism does too.

and it's there to help you see things clearer.

and if you learn to take it all in with a grain of salt

or a spoonful of sugar,

you may become something unique.

incredible even.

i wish people didn't take offense when i told them what i see.

never have i ever done it to tear anyone down

and i guess that is something i need to change in myself.

and i'm sorry if i ever hurt you, or someone you know.

it was unintentional. and meant for the best.

next time though when you ask for someone else's opinion,

be prepared to not simply hear yours reflected back to you.

because not everyone is a liar.

Explanation

why did i have to change my blog address? let's just say the world is full of bad guys. it's really not important the in depth story but just a warning to all you young girls out there; don't always trust people the way you wish you could. not everyone is deserving of that pure trust that you are capable of giving them. they will misuse it. and when that happens, your privacy and sometimes your safety are at risk. you will get hurt.

there is some very personal information on my blog that if you compiled it all you could totally make a stalker profile for me. you can even find out where i live if you tried hard enough. so because there are evil people out there who i would like to avoid and divert, i am going to attempt to remove all personal info like that, also avoid personal stuff that could be potentially harming and i am also asking something of you. please, if you know me personally don't link yourself to my blog. i know that sounds kind of snobbish but if one of those people who are the cause for my needing to change my blog address are also reading your blogs, and you're connected to mine...i'll just have to keep changing the URL which you have no idea is a HUGE pain in my rear end.

so keep my interests at heart; this really doesn't apply to those people who don't know me personally {in which case a shoutout to those readers, i seriously love your guts, because not only do you read my thoughts but i read your blogs as well and enjoy all of them!}

anyway; be careful with other people's privacy, don't do drugs...eat your vegetables...you know the routine ;P

Thanks everyone!

dear awkward girl,

no, i'm not a "guy magnet". yes, lots of guys say hi to me...but so do a lot of girls. yes, that one guy who gives my stomach butterflitis drops in to say hello before Stats class starts, but it's on his way to swim so it's all good. yes i feel more comfortable talking to guys than girls sometimes about...life, specifically certain guys {who i guess are pretty popular i've found out} but that's okay, i talk to girls a lot too...ish. yah, i feel more comfortable around chris, seth, sean and jason than the other girls sometimes but that's not proof of your statement, it's more proof that i'm a girl with three older brothers and likes that. sure i fakey flirt with craig and landon a lot but they know it's all a joke, and they've done it all back to me, but i started it. yup, taylar did start randomly dancing with me in the hallways and is super nice to me, but it wasn't that way until i crawled out of my shell too. joe tells me i'm beautiful of his own choice, but that's because he was always trying to communicate that i was more than physically pretty...which was a Lovely experience. and sometimes charlie sneaks up behind me and tears hair out of my head because we've really become great friends. it's all kind of just a part of being me. it doesn't mean i have a crush on all of them, or them on me {in fact it almost means the exact opposite...}

sometimes girl, you gotta just live life loving everything and loving everyone. go to life and life will welcome you with open arms. so don't be bitter... (: just accept the adventure.

unwritten

this song makes me happy: so i thought i'd share it with you.

quote of the day/embarrassing moment (although not mine...heh heh):

so i stuck my tongue out at this guy who was teasing me during Spotlight players and then i quickly turned around to face the front but he threw this comment at me (about sticking my tongue out) "Don't stick it out unless you want to share it!"

let's just say that lovely moments like this are our specialty. (: if you've been reading my blog you'll know who i'm talking about.

Also - heads up, i'm going to be posting less...because i want to write more personally about these people that i'm meeting and that kind of stuff belongs in my journal and not on a blog. But i won't forget you...I'll just...not remember you as much, because i'll be busy making the memories.

but just for kicks, here's a message to the girls: find a man who will talk to you just as willingly on the phone, as text and definitely face to face; who will save you from oncoming crowds of people in the hallway and who will...be your friend, at all costs no matter what, no matter what people say about you that may or may not be true.

Kaylla.

Ow.Ch

dear hurtful anonymous person.

refrain from saying hurtful things on my blog. maybe then i wouldn't feel like i need to make my blog private. refrain from being silly and immature as well. not everything is meant to be taken so literally, especially my blog. at least next time shoot me an email if you have an issue with my writing {mossflowergirl@gmail.com}, that way we could talk this out like civilized people.
thank you.

kaylla.

{post script} for any other anonymous readers out there, please feel free to follow my blog so i can know who is reading this. maybe that way i can more correctly tailor my words and thoughts to something more appropriate for you to read, and as harmless as possible.

{post post script} anyone else disregard this post. it is a reference to a comment on a past post.

7 things to change.

seven because it's a cool number and ten is too many. but seven? just right.

1.) stop using smiley faces (: to express how you are feeling. if your words don't say it, then change your words. and don't do "haha" either. words, words, words.

2.) think about other people. you are too focused on your own loneliness, lack of friends, boredom, life...whatever it is, its about you. make it about someone else. charity.

3.) have an irresistible tan by the beginning of school.

4.) get a job. anywhere.

5.) start saving 40% of your money for a digital camera. this also includes giving up hope of trying not to copy your siblings and their passions for photography. it's genetic, give up.

6.) correct your horrid boredom enticed addiction to facebook.

7.) wardrobe: drab and all comfortable to vintage and comfortable. and modest. always modest. and don't worry...wearing a skirt to school? guess what, after nine years in a uniform you already know it won't kill you.

due date: august 23, 2011.

good luck.

BBQ's and Fireworks

the land of the free and the brave. free from what? evil? not really. brave...what are we not afraid of?

sorry, i don't mean to be a pessimist, but honestly...no wait - seriously...what is it that makes america so great? de toqueville said that america was great because it was good...and when we cease to be good, we will cease to be great.

so i ask...are we good?

i look around, i see families torn apart, a country raved by the sickness of nude promiscuity. blatant homosexuality and shameless pride in disrespect. is this really good? has "good" lost it's meaning and become simply "good enough"?

have we, americans, really let it come to this? what a horrible gradual grand descent it has been. when we no longer have to sacrifice for what we have, when we can simply apply for it and make someone else pay for it - we are no longer free, we are the slaves.

republic? democracy? socialism...?.......communism....??? where are we really? and do we honestly want to know if we are no longer the land of the free or brave? I don't think we do - because then we would, and we would change it.

so today is the 4th of july - men are out in foreign countries sacrificing their lives for a dream {trying to give that dream to others, even if i disagree slightly with this whole war stuff whatever} they still sacrifice...while we BBQ and set off fires like stupid teenagers in fields full of weeds {yup - i've seen it...ugh...} after all the fireworks, the food, the junk and everything....have we thought about how our ancestors suffered?

A woman asked Ben Franklin on the street after the signing "what have you given us?" and he responded "a republic madam, if you can keep it" {emphasis added}

i ask - have we kept it?

kaylla

ps - i love the fireworks. it's gotta be my favorite part {aside from thanking the Lord over and over again for a country in which i can still pray to Him}

Perks and Quirks

ever taken the time to observe someone for a couple minutes and during that time noticed that something was seriously off about them? something about the way the walked, something about the way they talked, move around, dress, react, smile...did it bother you? annoy you? or did you completely fall in love with them?

has anyone ever told you their real pet peeves? like one of mine...i hate it when people chew loudly, or talk while eating...*shiver...

i've kind of been thinking about them a little bit again. it takes a very long time of looking at someone to see them do something like that, to make it a quirk or a habit that nobody else sees (sometimes not even themselves), so obviously you really only see those things in the people you admire, love, or are forced to be around the most, or when/if you are looking for them. obviously.

just some that i've noticed in other people...

there's this one girl i know who whenever i watched her play basketball on our school team, the way she runs reminds me of a girl that really needs to use the restroom... awkward... *cough.

another gal i love an adore, the moment she gets in her car she turns on her radio (and pretty loud too) and sometimes i wonder if she is doing it because we'll be in the middle of a conversation and then hop in the car and she'll blast the music... and we're still talking.

haha and then this girl i knew really well... she drank all the milk from her breakfast cereal first and then ate the actual cereal last.

there was this boy at my school as well - and i don't know if i've ever seen any other guy do it, but if he was playing soccer (it was never during any other time that i noticed) and he was waiting for the ball to come to him - he'd put his hands on his hips.

ha, i've been told that one of mine is that when i talk to any guys i always sway...i don't really know what they mean by "sway" but i guess i do because they even got my own mother to confirm it.

if you know me, you also know that i walk funny (which is one reason i can partly laugh at the way that other girl runs because i probably look just as awkward as she does). oh and i hate the word cute, well actually i hate it when people call me cute.... unless i'm actually being cute - but if they really mean pretty... ugh. just say pretty - not cute. it's so demeaning. haha

pet peeves.

we were talking about these in a sunday school class once a long long time ago, one person mentioned fingernails on a chalkboard and we all cringed. that's a pet peeve: something that makes you want to cringe or simply slap the causer silly until they stop. repugnating influences upon our sanity.

what's one of yours?

if you don't want to be silly-slapped then don't chew loudly (unintentionally) around me. if someone does it on purpose obviously that's different...but if you're like my mother and have absolutely no soundproofing barriers to protect the listeners from the grinding of your teeth from food...be aware in my presence that i may become very very annoyed. AAAaaaahhhh! one time in a class i had at school this girl started randomly eating lettuce...yah, random i know and if you know me - i also don't have much of a thing for lettuce either.

she started crunching away like no other.

{insert insanity scream here}

it took all the patience inside my cynical blunt sarcastic little body to keep from telling her to stop shoving food in her pie-hole while i was trying to listen to the lesson. i tried giving her those "meaningful" looks too, and you'd think every girl is self-conscious enough to notice that look but no...she keeepppppttttt onnnnnnnn cchhheewwwiinnggg... !!! good thing that that was when the teacher noticed her eating in his classroom because i was about to let loose and be really rude.

saved by the teacher with a good eye. *relieved smile

maybe i'm annoying or i just get annoyed a lot but i have a feeling it's only going to get worse. lilly and my mom often take offense to my honesty... and they are the two people who know me best in this world (although, not by choice).

excuse me if i offended anyone in how blunt i was in this post. i love all these people dearly - duh, otherwise i wouldn't criticize them. yah i know - twisted logic - but really, that's the truth!

talk-to-you-later

ps - i really like the no-capital letters idea, i saw it on someone else's blog. what do you think?

10 Uses for the Cardboard Box

1. Moving things around - like your junk - when you displace yourself to a new house.

2. Throwing at annoying siblings who tease you.

3. Cutting up into pieces and making something artsy with it, like a doll house.

4. Throwing it away. (my favorite)

5. Using it to hold acrylic paint, like those boards that french artists use when they oil paint.

6. Hiding things away in dark corners to be discovered years later in. Covered in dust.

7. Replacing parts of cars (i.e. windows that won't roll up).

8. Making mazes for your pet mice...to confuse them...

9. Staring at in hatred after they fill up your house with your own junk inside of them.

10. Writing about how to use them, because they are just so wonderfully useless.

I am now done with my wonderfully cynical post for the day. Your welcome. Another one about cars and transportational devices - tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Kaylla

PS - I have actually done all of the above listed reasons by the way. Just so you know.

Big Time Rush

My friend Kelsey (her blog Here), showed me this group - yah I know, they're kind of wannabe Backstreet Boys kind of deal but don't worry - they still have their own good stuff going on. Their names are Kendall Schmidt, James Maslov, Carlos Pena, and Logan Henderson (who happens to be my personal favorite) and warning: they sound just as bad live as Taylor Swift does. It's funny - so many of these famous people couldn't hold a candle to people of real talent; like my friend Miranda or my guyfriend Taylor (ohh man, his voice is nice). Like I said - real people.

Anyway - so this song is called "Worldwide". I just figured why not post it - it's not my favorite, but it's a good one. I'll post my real favorite after this video.

and "Count on You" featuring Jordin Sparks

So...more music. You know me - I like music...and you get lots of it if you read my blog. Anyway - pretty ok groupy - Big Time Rush, they have a tv show or something, probably not worth watching - most teen and kids shows are really lame and stupid like that, buuuut that is me and my big fat opinion. Enjoy anyway!

I'm Sorry.

No scenario, no background, no nothing because I'm just not going to divulge that - but anyone who has read my blog previously, maybe you will notice that certain posts are gone. That is not because I was scared into deleting them, it was not because someone hacked my account. It's because they no longer needed to be read - because they were all based on lies. Lies that I took for truth instead of going to the source.

I think I have finally learned that lesson...that's for sure. All the jazz and junk I have been writing was hardly ever anyone else's fault - but my own. I apologize for any misgivings I have had towards other persons...I hope they...realize how sad I am about that...and how much I hate all the times that I didn't trust their words over another's lies.

I'm also going to warn against gossip in this post. It's all that cruddy stuff that started this junk. I listened to all the little things I hear around and I let it get to me. I was so...STUPID. There are so many words I could use, and am using to describe myself right now for how dumb and horrible I have been - but I won't write that here. Just apologizing for all the mean and hurtful, horrible things I have said.

I made mis-judgments too. I have used words I didn't understand, like "perverted" to describe people, when I should have been less judgmental, and more open-minded to the differing beliefs of others. Not everyone is as closed-minded and childish as I am and I am sorry. I'm sorry a million times over.

I've been a jerk and made judgment calls on people who have been nothing but forgiving and kind to me - and if ever we had misunderstandings, they were my fault or through differing ideals of right and wrong, etc.

I have been a horrible friend this past year as well. Unintentionally - but all the same. I subconsciously used some of the best people I have ever known. I have called people names, I have viciously held others to my high standards and then condemned them accordingly. I'm sorry...

I have been changeable too. I have been happy about things and the way they are, and I have been angry and I have been sad - never just one, and never making up my mind; constantly changing with the weather of the drama around me. Drama...that I so willingly and subconsciously created myself. I have detached myself from people and then told them that I miss them. I have told people that I want to see them, then avoided them. It's been stupid and childish and wretched of me!

Right now, I'm so sick of myself and my silly mistakes that I'm ready to just go to bed and hopefully...maybe it will turn into one big horrible dream and I will wake up the night after Prom night and everything will be ok, and with the memory of this horrible dream, I could make everything right again.

But it's not and I have to deal with and clean up my own stupid mess.

I'm worried that some of my friends might think I'm being a little hard on myself - please don't. Know that I am completely awake, well fed and totally sane. I have thought through the facts given me and reasoned all of this out. I haven't divulged anything new to my friends, and I don't intend to. I intend to let this story end right now. From now on I'm not going to talk to my friends about other people, if I have issues with other people - I go to the source from now on.

Ugh...and I know I've said that before - and those people whose trust I have damaged...I know that it might very well be just too late for that. I know you're mad at me. I hope someday when I have finally grown up (really grown up - not this silly stuff about feeling older and whatever) we can meet again as common friends and with smiles on our faces we can move on with our lives.

I've damaged so many good friendships this year, I've given in to so many lies, I've been so immature and stupid through this whole mess. I apologize and if you were involved, I hope you can someday forgive me. I'm sorry and I hope you believe me when I say I will never do it again; and if there really is anything I can do to make it better - to compensate for what I have said and done, please - please I ask and beg that you will tell me so that I can do it right away.

I love you...even though I haven't acted like it all the time. I hope that if no forgiveness can be found - at least there will be some understanding.

I'm sorry.

"Here's to the Girls"

So I'm gonna combine 3 songs here - This One's for the Girls by Martina McBride, Who Says by Selena Gomez and Tied Together with a Smile by Taylor Swift.

Basically you gotta listen to these songs first:

So girls, I know all these people singing these songs are beautiful and seem to have perfect lives but seriously - the message is the same. Girls wake up! You are beautiful! And you know why? Because you. just. are. Stop beating up on yourself. I can attest that when I was younger (I even have pictures to prove it) that I was an ugly duckling. Yah! And you know what is funny? I look pretty much the same physically as I did 3 years ago. You know what changed? My outlook on life. It affects EVERYTHING!

When you change how you see yourself from the inside you begin to change and see yourself differently on the outside. You don't ACTUALLY change but you SEE yourself differently.

A few helpful hints on how to see yourself good from the inside though:

1. Listen to good music. Yah - I know that means boring to most people but, stop with the rap and the slow sad songs. Get some REALLY country or pop (uplifting) stuff that makes you want to go take a shower and get some chores done. It's hard at first but trust me - it works

2. Take a shower every day. You would be surprised how much hygiene has to do with how you feel about yourself. Learn about deodorant, brushing your teeth. Did you know that bad breath actually comes from having a dry mouth? So it's OK to chew gum! It gets rid of bad breath - because it make you salivate. Yah, do it :)

3. Stop wearing makeup. I'm not going to put a time limit on this one (my friend did for me and that doesn't seem to work) but here's the theory. When you feel comfortable NOT wearing makeup - THEN you should be able to wear it. Then go a couple of days without it - IN PUBLIC. Heck yah, trust me. ;)

4. Friends! You have NO idea (well maybe you do) how much your friends affect you! Good Heavens! If you feel happy around your friends and you can be ALL of yourself (crazy, sad, happy, angry, excited, crazy etc) around them - then they are Keepers! But if you find yourself constantly trying to live up to them, live down to them, angry with them, all that junk - I know it's hard (and if it's really that big of a deal, you should talk to your parents about switching schools) but get some new ones. I promise - it makes A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

5. Keep a journal. Yah, I know your life is boring. So is mine! Guess what - here's a secret....rarely ANYone has one of those lives that's exciting on every page. So write anyway. Write your dreams, your disappointments - it's all worth it, because its YOU. and you know what??? YOU are SPECIAL so that means your words are too. So write.

6. Eat healthy. No this is not a diet. Don't go skipping meals (that's been proven to actually be worse for you - makes your body cling to fat, thus makes you fatter) and no I'm not saying go exercise every day (although for some people, that is what they like to do and want to do - to each his own). I'm saying eat 3 square meals a day (square = protein, carbohydrates, VEGGIES, fruits and LOTS OF WATER) get a water bottle and keep it in the fridge so you always have cold water ready for you. Also - snacking is good - just not in excess. Snacks are NOT meals - just something to keep you tided over (like I said earlier - when you starve, you cling to fat. Big no no). So eat right - it gives SO MUCH toward you feeling good about yourself.

7. Sing - OUT LOUD. Something about singing is just good for the soul. Do it.

8. Cry. Not in public - you don't want to cry for the wrong reasons (to get attention) but it's been proven scientifically that crying is a healthy release of water. And emotion. It doesn't hurt anyone :) and no, it's not just a wet mess. If you wear makeup - don't worrrrryyyy!!!!! nobody cares - tell them you ran in the rain :) even if its sunny outside. Also - cold water on the face brings down the swelling (just a hint) ;)

9. Healthy bedtimes: For a normal teenager? Go to bed around 10, 11 AT THE LATEST and then wake up at 6, or 7 (yah I know - EARLY!) but honestly, you'll feel great. And if you can't handle early - make your bedtime sooner, don't sleep in to make up for that.

10. Last but not least - pray. Maybe you don't believe in God, I do - and this one is the most important. Something about talking to God is good for the soul. If you don't know how to pray well then....ask someone who you know is religious or email me.

AAHHhhhhnnnyway. I'm done :) SMILE! Life is ALWAYS good, and if it can get better, it will. I promise :)

Creepy Stalker Girl

I knew this person . . . who had a crush on this boy . . . in her class in 8th grade . . . and aww man was he cute and she sure thought that they were meant to be. Anyway to make a short story shorter - he didn't like her, told her so, she let the beans spill that she stalked him . . . and whoa. Luckily they became friends after that blew over . . . he never ended up liking her but at least the creepiness wore off.

I'm just placing a warning for those girls who believe that surfing the web for the boy of their dreams - through this girl I learned that stalking IS NOT THE ANSWER. heh heh heh. You may find out things that are cool to know but when you talk to him in person and bring it up you have to act like you don't know it anyway right? So just get to know him from him okay? Seriously!

And who wants to stalk boys anyway?

Gah. Some people pull the stalker thing as a joke - "You're such a stalker!" because I knew someone who seriously was! and it's hilarious! Gah, creepy. Anyway.

SO ON WITH THE REAL MEANING OF THIS POST. Don't be a Creepy Stalker Girl and feel bad when you read my post. :)

great advice yeh? I thought so . . .

My next post I'm thinking will be about how stupid and weird boys are . . . and how some are more stupid and weirder than others.

Love you! bye

Kaylla

PS - imagine that the picture is about a cat shooting love darts . . . I couldn't find many pictures appropriate for stalker topics :)

Helping Hint of getting rid of or avoiding male associations

So me in my obsession of not being in any type of one-sided relationship with guys anymore remembered coincidentally something from the movie Love Happens. Cute movie - suggest although there is definitely language and emotional content. :)

Anyway - here's the hint. Pretend to be deaf. I personally could do this partially credibly because my friend and I are trying to learn it. I know a few very helpful phrases like "I want a drink of water" "Go away" "I love you" (less helpful in getting a male to leave you alone) ;) haha and some others. Yeah . . . I just wanted to write about that. Not really sure why.

Thanks for reading my blog! It makes me feel so great when people do!

Kaylla

Guy Crazy

I'm guilty. With that off of my chest then I'll just say I hate it when girls hang around guys and . . . be like that. It kind of goes way too close to grossing me out.

There's a girl in my class who I've known since 5th grade who I love, yes, but who also annoys me like none other. Two people in this world do that - her and another girl. No names here either - just in case. BUT these two people . . . they seem to be attracted to the same guys as me. So for the past two weeks - if I like a guy, then he's practically in-accessible to even talk to because one or the other or BOTH are hitting on him.

Today I had my own little victory; if that's what you want to call it of course. I was just myself and had a lot of fun today but also when one of those certain girls was talking to him I jump started her - yeah whatever I got a slight glare but what do I care? I got my victory - the attention was all mine and I made her look foolish. I'm so horrible. That's why girls should never like guys and vice-versa or even be attracted until college when they can actually get married - it's way too distracting. And heartbreaking.

But I have comfort from one thought - the man who falls in love with me won't like the people I don't like, and will see those things in them too. In other words - if a guy likes me then he won't like any of those other two girls.

Another sad thing is that one of those girls got the part that I wanted in the play Fiddler on the Roof. But I think I've already said this - Far From The Home I Love is still my song. No changing that.

My friends tease each other non stop about boys - in a sarcastic way. I don't think any of us actually like someone (except me - I'm the weirdo of this group) :D which is great in a way. Hopefully I bring a fresh tide of water on their humor. I love them with all my heart. They're the only thing that makes not being liked by a guy worth it.

Every girl wants a guy to crush on her right? Or am I really wrong and super abnormal in my desire that a good guy with at least a decent physique will like me. Why is it that with guys Physique and Intelligence rarely go together? That's why I want to get to know No Name better I guess . . . to see if there's any gritty knowledge underneath those looks. :)

The hilarious part is how I'm not telling any names. If one of them read this they would know right off if it were them so why hide it? Oh well - not gonna change that ;)

I put as my gmail status "Love sucks lemons". I believe some explanation is needed.

Love sucks. Suck lemons is kind of a hippie way of saying when life gives you lemons make lemonjuice . . . except not. Sucking lemons if you haven't noticed is REALLY hard without . . . laughing and splattering the sour juices all over your friends. So when I say Love Sucks Lemons it means that being in love is like sucking a lemon, you know there's the potential for something really refreshing but the truth of the matter is that it tastes really bad.

*I'm done venting :D hopes and dreams are useless unless you do something about them.

*Never tell those hopes and dreams to people who don't care - they'll make you realize they're impossible which will prevent you from achieving them.

*Never take the same path as before - new ones bring different sores and sometimes worse ones but usually the beauty of the path is breathtaking; and if it isn't then go back to the old path next time.

*Be yourself - it's the only person you'll ever truly know except for Christ; you'll always go back to yourself and find that you're okay - that life is worth living as just you.

*Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are worth their weight in gold.

*Tears cleanse the soul but too much cleaner leaves a bad smell and the case of tears . . . difficult vision.

*If you don't have enemies in life then you're not living your life right.

*Never recycle something that no one wants to use anyway.

*Take pictures of yourself being a goofball . . . and post it on facebook or wherever you go so people don't get the wrong idea.

*Go a day with your hair looking like you just took a shower and did nothing else with it. People will either tell you it's ugly or cute and those who tell you it's ugly . . . well they weren't much of a good friend to begin with now were they?

*Give advice that means nothing at least once a day.

*Read books that will change your life. Don't change your favorite books so that you can read your life.

*Country music is for people who are comfortable singing off-key loudly and loving the way it sounds. If that's not you then you need to practice loving the unlovable aspects of yourself.

*Step outside of your comfort zone once a day . . . sooner or later your comfort zone is going to be so big that you won't even know what that phrase means anymore.

*Go mute and deaf for a complete day at least once in your life.

*Never let someone tell you that love isn't worth the pain. Pain is the only proof that we're alive and human - and if love makes us feel that then Why Not?

DID you like my advice? It was all rather random but I had fun writing it :D I need to take my own advice on some of it but hopefully whoever reads this someday, it will mean something to them :)

Love you!

Dunno what to call this post

There is one topic that I'm often found as easily approachable about; other girls' boy problems. It's rather funny actually - girls that are into that sort of thing (not all but I've been surprised by how many) have told me that I'm good to talk to. I wonder why that is? I give the advice of action I would hope I would take in situations like that . . . but it's funny because I rarely do.

Not to mention I'm a Charles Dickensian sort of old lady (if you've seen and/or read David Copperfield or Great Expectations then you'd realize that there's an old woman in both who takes a young girl in and tries to make her into a man-hater) anyway - I'm almost (notice word use "almost" a man-hater. I love my brothers and dad of course and a few select others (will not name) :) but other than that I don't think I trust men very much. It's really pretty interesting . . . if you like studying the way a girl thinks and how her time growing up affects her grownup years. I saw the trailer for "He's Just NOT That Into You" and was pretty convinced that girls who think that all guys like them stems from the fact that older siblings, moms and whoever else tells them that when someone of the opposite sex is mean it just means they like them. Rather humorous :D

I'm kind of babbling amn't I. Well - if you don't want to read this you're welcome to check out some other blog :D because I'm fixated on the subject of how I think liking boys is overrated and I think that most boys are either way to into THEMSELVES - too oblivious to when a girl is really good for him and . . . yeah. Interestingly enough I think my aversion to boys stems more from lack of wanted attention growing up than from broken heart. I don't think a boy has ever broken my heart except once and that person doesn't count :D

So what am I getting at here . . . I don't even know . . . I think I'm just trying to get out all the pent up emotions. That's good for the health.

Did you know that stopping yourself from sneezing can create potential heart problems? It can - so beware - let yourself sneeze :)

I've often told my brother Cameron that I don't think a guy will ever truly love me - that or I could never commit to something like that. I've got the stability of Missouri weather when it comes to who I like and don't like (Missouri weather I've heard can change on you in minutes). Most likely the latter of the two - because even totally rude people and people with major problems have people fall in love with them, but I don't think I'll ever fall in love.

So here's my plan. Well Plan A I guess.

A: Hope for the best but plan for the worst is my motto so I will just not get married unless THE PERFECT MAN FOR ME comes along and if he doesn't then I'll find some old guy who's already been married and his wife's died or something and then I'll marry him in the temple - and voila! I can go to the Celestial Kingdom but he won't have to spend eternity with me because he'll probably want to spend it more with his first wife. It works :D

But that's only the worst case scenario. I hope. :D

I have the feeling that I'm in the most sardonic mood. Look up the word sardonic - it's a pretty cool word :)

I really hate those pens that you have to twist in order to get the ball point to come out - it annoys me because when you're writing (if you write like me) then you twist your pen as you write and it slowly spins itself back in and you have to constantly be twisting it out again. Annoying.

My brother went on a hike recently (I've been talking a lot about Cameron but hopefully nobody minds right? right. good.) so anyway - hiking - and he brought the friend over that he was going hiking with and so we were all talking while Cameron got the stuff they needed together and I actually could talk to him like a normal person - it was pretty cool. I wish most guys were that mature, then I might change my mind but they're not so I won't.

Well . . . I'm not sure but this post is getting kind of old to me.

Oh - boyfriends and girlfriends are useless until you can actually get serious. And if your family doesn't like whoever you're considering marrying then please don't marry them (unless of course you aren't really that close to your family) (ASK THEM if you don't already know.)

It's kind of windy outside.

I love umbrellas - I want to take a picture one day of me walking across a street with an umbrella . . . it would be kind of retro and then cool at the same time. Okay - so I'm not even talking about what I meant to talk about anymore so I'll say goodbye now!!!

Goodbye Now!!!!

Social Inadequacy

So I've been pondering . . . well not really pondering but I wanted something to write about so I'm going to say I pondered about it . . . about SOCIAL INADEQUATES.

Interesting phrase eh? Yeah I heard it off of a movie. It means someone who is a nobody in the social world. So I've never really met one because I guess you could say I make friends with them. So I found this picture - and it's titled Chipmunk View. It's the view of someone down below looking up or above.

So I'm just here to express my sympathy or in older times, empathy of those who choose to be in those positions because in all honesty - they choose that. And I know for a fact that clothes and clothing size and family money make you popular although that certainly helps. But rather what makes someone a someone in the social world is . . . they're willingness to reach out to others. When I first started at public school for the one month that I went there, I read online somewhere that the way to make friends when talking to someone is to compliment them. FOCUS ON OTHERS.

So there's my advice for the day. I should probably stop posting so much . . . I just like the idea of publishing my own stuff. Besides, I can basically say whatever I want, because after this is my blog and who's gonna really read this and be interested? (maybe a couple of my friends but :) does that count?) haha.

So I watched the Princess Diaries movie recently and heard this quote:

"My expectation in life is to be invisible . . . and I'm good at it!"

So . . . if this is you - jump out of your shell - don't crawl and don't slide - JUMP! And even if you don't want to - just be yourself. That's what life is all about - learning to accept and find who you really are. :)

Now I'm done with my wisdom moment. ByE!
