it was a flash of color on a picture, perhaps barely recognizable other than a simple pattern. but it made my heart race and my mouth curl into the same smile that you've given me since that first time. a simple thing i know; but it gave me hope. a small dash of bittersweet hope. hope that when you look at your wrist to remember the time...you might be remembering me too.
