valentine's day: very cliche

however. mine was wonderful. i've never liked valentine's day - stressful, pink, too much chocolate...

yuck.

but yesterday {as it was filled with balloon wishes, gifts, a visit to provo temple grounds, perfect view of orion, the "smiling song", watching Tangled with him, guitar playing and countless many other beautiful moments...} was wonderful.

he asked me out on a date. and we had a splendid time.

i only hope he knows how much i love him.

i mean...how could i not? he remembered how i hate chocolate. {don't worry, i would still love him even if he had forgotten}

people who spend valentine's day moping around because they don't have something wonderful to celebrate are...sad {hahaha, pun Singles Awareness Day spells SAD...sorry, i thought that was funny.} anyway. there are so many people out there ready for your love, maybe it won't be romantic but it is waiting to be given. i still don't like valentine's day necessarily - i appreciate the opportunity to focus a day on love, but it's still not my favorite. if i weren't quite so lucky, i would still be content though. i think people miss out by their...demand to be loved, when they forget that to receive it, one must also give it.

so give love. it makes others feel so wonderful.

and i hope that you had a wonderful valentine's day after all.
