My Lullabies
So I tried a previous post (unpublished due to technical difficulties) which has decided it hates me so I'm starting over but without all the copy and pasting which apparently is the reason it's freaking out at me - according to HTML. But who trusts computers? They . . . think . . . you know?
Anyway - lullabies. I've always been partly obsessed with this sector of music. Gentle, moving, calming . . . my type of music :)
Some of my favorites (which previously I tried to put the lyrics and equaled epic failure) are listed below and the "best" youtube link that I have chosen is connected. So enjoy - after that list I'm probably going to think and try to remember the one my mom used to sing to me as a little girl . . . enjoy!
Frere Jacques (french) - (bonus: star trek version!)
Right Here in my arms (barbie) - (bonus: duet/reprise)
Windsong (Mighty Joe Young - film)
Angel's Song (sung by Chloe Agnew)
Baby Mine (Dumbo's lullaby) sung by Alison Krauss
So those are my favorites . . . of course I think I'll probably find more but yeah.
So this next lullaby my grandma wrote (she's musically inclined) ;) and sang it to my mom and my mom sang it to me and my siblings . . . and I can only remember certain parts - so I'll do a part two I guess. Sorry!
But I hope you enjoy! Lots of Love!
Kaylla
BONUS: this is my music box's song and I think my grandma used to sing it: You Light Up My Life - Debby Boone
